Kava, the L1 blockchain, has launched Hard.fun, the first decentralised memecoin creation platform. The launch was approved by an 80%+ vote by HARD token holders, transitioning Hard Lend Protocol to a launch pad. The move opens the door for the entire cryptocurrency community to actualise their memetic dreams and showcase their creativity while at it.
According to the team, Hard.fun was created to preserve the spirit of meme coins—community-led initiatives that give back to their owners. Meme coin laaunchpads have been around for a while, but the three most prominent ones—Moonshot, Pump.fun, and Gra.fun—are all centralised. As a result of being controlled by developers, they deny memecoin communities their freedom of expression.
HARD.fun has prioritised democratising meme coin creation by removing the existing barriers. With the recently released Kava AI chatbot, it has automated the entire process. All users have to do is describe their desired token type and add any other variables and leave it to the chatbot to churn out the coin automatically on the user’s preferred blockchain.
In addition to the Kava Chain, the chatbot is able to directly query any network that is built on Cosmos or EVM chains. By leveraging Kava Chain’s interoperability, users will soon be able to churn out memecoins that integrate with multiple platforms, such as Kava EVM, Ethereum, Cosmos, and IBC, as well as BNB Chain, Solana, Tron, and others.
