Renowned media company, Forbes, has teamed with Galxe, a leading Web3 data network, to build its Web3 community. The newly-launched initiative aims at bringing value to the web3 environment and fostering community affinity towards development. Forbes will employ Galxe’s technology to offer its users fulfilling experiences in their interactions within the Web3 space.
Forbes has evidenced its Web3 by creating a new account on social media platform X under the username ForbesWeb3, dedicated to serving its Web3 community. Forbes began inviting its users to join Web3 on December 4, and the media company will give Web3 rewards to those who complete social tasks on Galxe.
In addition to tracking progress and encouraging community building, users can earn points as they complete these tasks and move up the leaderboard. Exclusive benefits, such as complementary Forbes subscriptions and premium products branded with the Forbes name, are available to users in addition to Web3 rewards.
While its collaboration with Galxe introduces a new approach to its business, this is certainly not the first time Forbes is forraying into Web3. The company already established a crypto division, which covers blockchain and digital assets. The community-focused Web3 campaign with Galxe will culminate in an NFT mint in the Spring of 202.
Forbes is counting on Galxe as a key partner in its Web3 initiative, driven by confidence in Galxe’s market performance. Galxe has driven the expansion of Optimism, Polygon, Arbitrum, and over 4000 partners with loyalty programmes that offer rewards to over 14 million unique users.
