The Quest of Evolution, a decentralised artist collective, has released The Oracle’s Verse, its NFT collection on OpenSea. This collection is dubbed the first “crypto-novel.” This set consists of 6 unique multimedia NFTs, each of which has a maximum possible supply of one. Furthermore, their owners can earn passive revenue by writing and passing on their stories on the blockchain.
In The Oracle’s Verse, six protagonists explore their owners’ subconscious and bring back interesting encounters through a multi-sensory artwork that adds new layers of text to the story. The collective’s narrative is a story that goes on forever, and each new owner can alter or continue it in any way they see fit.
Launching on most EVM networks, including Ethereum, Polygon, Moonbeam, Optimism, and Arbitrum, the Quest of Evolution is a multi-chain platform with evolving NFT collections. The platform has issued its native $QEV token on Moonbeam, and the token serves as an internal currency.
Following the collective, on May 1st, OpenSea will host an auction for the first of a series of scientific essays written by T. Dylan Daniel (aka Epic Dylan), philosopher, scientist, and founder of PageDAO. Then, Zep, a musician, and Joseph Nassise, a writer, will release a crime fiction crypto novel. In addition to being a best-selling author on both the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists, Zep is well-known for his catchy, heavy hip-hop and video clips, which have amassed millions of views and the endorsement of bands like Limp Bizkit.
Customers who buy The Oracle’s Verse NFTs on Polygon and participate in shaping the story will receive 200 $QEV tokens and a perpetual royalty distribution in MATIC. In addition, when an IP rights license or sale is made to a third party in the fields of cinema, game, video, or merchandising, all contributors to The Quest of Evolution’s crypto-novel will receive a portion of the Global Royalty Pool.
