    Summary:
  • BlockDAG has attracted more than $180 million in presale funds and says it will list on exchanges in 2025. We explore its potential outcome.

BlockDAG, one of the most highly anticipated blockchain projects of 2025, continues to draw strong investor interest. The project, which leverages the security of blockchain technology and the high transaction efficiency and throughput of Directed Acrylic Graph (DAG) will go live on mainnet in 2025.

The project’s development team revealed during a recent Ask Me Anything (AMA) session that they intend to list BDAG coin on multiple tier-two and tier-three CEXs before launching on mainnet. Ultimately, it aims to list in ten centralised exchanges this year.

A Succesful Presale and the Underlying Risks for BlockDAG Price

The project has raised $182.5 million in its presale, underlining the strong investor confidence in the coin. The BDAG coin presale is currently in its 27th installment, with the coin going at $0.0248. The first stage of the presale initially sold BDAG at $0.00105, meaning that early investors have realised a profit of 2,348%. The project aims to raise $600 million during the presale phase, with BlockDAG price set to undergo incremental rises at each stage.

However, a successful presale does not always translate to a successful outcome in market conditions. For example, the EOS Network still holds the record for the most successful presale in history, having raised $4.1 billion. However, the EOS Coin has struggled in the market, with its market capitalisation at $1.2 billion as of this writing.

Also, BlockDAG is not the only crypto project to integrate Direct Acrylic Graph technology. Kaspa (KAS) has been around for a while, but hasn’t quite lived up to its billing. The market has not really found large-scale use cases for the technology, limiting its upside.

Nonetheless, BlockDAG’s presale success has enabled it to build a strong sentiment around its native BDAG coin. However, project team will need to prove its ability to deliver on the set timelines, especially with regards to the mainnet launch and listing date.
